We've created a page about why we think Playmobil is a good homeschooling help. Click here to take a look. There is also another blog entry where you can see some of ds's recent notebooking pages and read about our chick that hatched!

More entries were added to the AW science
gravy pages and more work was done on the Children Around the World supplement
(for those of you who have the link).

Our blog has a new entry and some pictures of ds's "work".

There
is a new science printable to practice classification.
More classification printables are coming soon, since they are being created for
our son's "extras" as he studies WinterPromise's Animals and Their Worlds
program.

We've
started working on a supplement we plan to use for WinterPromise's Children Around
the World Prgram. The supplement is designed for jr. high to high school with
plenty of extras and "gravy" for younger siblings! Sorry, we aren't
linking to it just yet but we'd thought we'd let you know!
We
also have a NEW science
printables section! We also have a new science jumping
off point page.
We're
also doing a lot of behind the scenes work on our math
literature pages and starting a section for WinterPromise's Animals
and Their Worlds "gravy". So far we have the first 6 weeks up. Items
will be added as we go along through the program.

Take

review!

There
is a new blog entry . We have also let everyone know
on our copywork & handwriting page that
we will be adding the Handwriting Without Tears cursive font to our handwriting
printables. A big thanks also to those of you who have been ordering items through
Amazon from our pages and /or through our links!!

90
new printables await in the copywork section!
I finished the alphabet sheets and most of the copywork / handwriting pages that
go with "Great in Counsel and Mighty in Deed".
Also,
a BIG thank you to C.M. for our first donation and to all of the other moms' who
have written with words of encouragement and requests. We love hearing from you
all!!!

We
now have a math comparison chart where you can see the various strengths and weaknesses of different math programs.

Wow!
We've had to upgrade our bandwidth because we got a notice from our hosting provider.
That's done and paid for!
We've
also finished up the American history curriculum printable documents. We've got
a hefty 82-page PDF and an editable
Word document. For those of you who don't have Word, we've linked to a free
program that is compatible so you can edit, tweak and change to your heart's content.
We've
also added a donation page that is tailored to the homeschooling
pages of the site. All of our materials are free and we don't want anyone to feel
obligated to help support our site, but for those of you who wish to help out,
there is now a page for that.
Another
thing we've done is changed the daily schedule pages that are online to be "stand-alone" pages that no longer need
to be linked to the topics pages for links and so on. More corrections and a few
additions were made as well.
Thank
you so much to those of you who have emailed me about the history schedule. I'm
so excited to know there are homeschoolers out there using and planning to use
our history curriculum!
7-15-07
We've
made some tweaks and corrections to our daily schedule and have also added a week-by-week
"bare-bones see it at a glance" books
and materials list .
7-13-07
We've
made some changes to our daily schedule pages like linking to online materials
so you don't have to go back and forth between the daily schedule and the topics
page anymore. We have also added some additional graphics to the site, added some
links in our links section, etc.

New printables are posted on the copywork page.
I have finished the capital letter alphabet handwriting practice pages. I still
have to finish the lowercase letters. Those will be coming soon!
We
have also redone almost every one of our PDF's (over 250 of them) to make them
smaller files. That makes us happier concerning bandwidth and also should be a
help for those of you using dial-up.
Our notebooking printables section has been
expanded with new pages and new printable notebooking pages. We have two entirely
new categories with brand-new printables: history
notebooking printables and geography
notebook pages.
7-10-07
We've
finished getting our daily schedules up to go with our American history curriculum
topics. There is now a total of 34 weeks scheduled with suggested stopping points
for those of you who will be moving on to other curriculums such as WinterPromise,
Tapestry of Grace, Sonlight, or My Father's World. You can check it all out via
our daily schedule.
